Let’s go back to Kindergarten

Routine - each day at the school was the same. Line up to go in, put away jackets and bags and lunches, go through the lessons, eat lunch and a nap.

Specials - show and tell, line leader, board eraser, class visitors/guests, field trip, end of the year fun day.

Love - we knew our teacher loved us. "Good morning!" "Hello!" "How are you?" "Can I help you with that?" "Let's use our indoor voice"

Today, I'd like you to try one experiment!

You will need:

```
a clear cup, 
```
```
a little bit of potting soil, 
```
```
water, 
```
```
a plate, 
```
```
a sunny windowsill 
```
```
and a seed like bean, pumpkin or pea. 
```
Now do this:

Poke three small holes in the bottom of the cup.

```
Fill the cup halfway with potting soil.
```
```
Water the soil.
```

Press the seed into the soil until it's covered.

```
Place the cup on a small plate or bowl.
```
```
Put it in the sunny windowsill.
```

Water it a little every day with lukewarm water.
