UGH! I didn't plant a Critter Buffet!

This year has seen more new critter pressure and many gardeners report dealing with ones different than in past years. New gardeners are learning just how many four legged creatures like human produce. It can be So Frustrating!

I hope you don't give up entirely. You are smarter than critters. And you're working on growing your own food - super cool!
Physical barriers are the best defense. This is what we'd like to see!

Consider protection frames on top or around of your garden beds…Something like this..

If your beds are against a privacy fence, you might consider netting attached to it and draping down to cover your beds. Sort of like this?

Maybe get motion activated lights and/or sprinklers that come on and scare them away!

Also they make strips that can be laid down around the garden edges that critters don't like to walk on.

Tender seedlings can be protected with bird netting propped on posts or even milk jugs.

Make sure to secure your doors closed using good latches. Critters like raccoons can learn how to open them!

Or consider enclosing the whole space like this…

You say you can't build things like these cages or pens? I can do it for you. Contact me for a garden consult!
