Make Your Bed

Temps here are high and the sun is out. It's still too cold to plant outside but I can definitely prepare my garden beds.

Added old potting soil and composted manure. Will be adding peat moss, chicken clean out bedding, topsoil and more composted manure.

The chickens LOVE scratching soil and the cats would like to dig and the dog likes to eat chicken poo so……

I'm also installing chicken wire to keep things and animals where they belong. I'll wire them to the trellis and raise them as the plants grow up and fill in.

Another way I'm prepping is letting the flock come into some beds to scratch/till and poo.
