Got a lot of apples to core, peel and slice?
The right tools help πŸ˜‰
375 apples for the jars of applesauce below!

There's a lot to do when you're gardening, harvesting and preserving your own produce. Look for ways to save time and energy.

We love these tested tools!

Below is a super efficient peeler, corer and slicer. Cast Magnesium Apple/Potato Peeler Corer by Spiralizer, Durable Heavy Duty Die Cast Magnesium Alloy Peelers https://a.co/d/htx3yAU

Here's a video of this in action. We give all the trimmings to the chickens. Some people make cider or jelly with the trimmings. I cut them for dehydrating and when hubby makes his apple pies for the holidays.

And here is a food mill that strains everything out of a sauce. Johnny Apple Sauce Maker Model 250 Food Strainer https://a.co/d/1AMmci6

Some people even motorize the strainer.

I like to use it for crabapples and tomatoes too. The sauce comes out one tube and the skin, seeds and stems out the other. It's easy enough to roast the produce till soft then run it through the strainer. Below is the leftovers in a bowl. They'll go to the chickens too.

Add these to your Christmas, mother’s day, fathers day lists, pick them up at tax refund time or just get them for yourself because you love you 😍 ❀️ 😘

If you buy them used, verify all the necessary parts are there.

Happy processing!
